    東京銀座彩鳳堂画廊で1988年に購入した絵画です。

    本作の写真は掲載されていませんが図録をお付けします。

    作者から頂いた直筆のお手紙もお付けします。

    サイズ額: よこ80センチたて95センチ
    　　　絵: よこ73センチたて90センチ

    額縁には経年による塗装のひび割剥離が所々に見られます。

    日本:東京都 生まれ 生 年 1943年

    齋藤隆氏は円空と同じく放浪する芸術家である。氏は最近、和紙に墨一色で不思議な人間の 像などを描く。それは一見、寒山拾得のような人物に思われる。氏の描く人間は寒山拾得よりは るかに暗いが、その底に奇怪で深いユーモアをたたえている。芭蕉の如く「奥の細道」をゆく旅人 である氏は、人間の原形を必死で追求しているように思われる。
