    この度は、当方のオークションをご覧頂きまして誠にありがとうございます。
    希少な御品を数多く出品しておりますので、当方のマイオークションを色々ご覧になって下さい。

    こちらは現在廃盤となったカナダのトロント・ステンドグラス社がアメリカの著名な画家であるローラ・クームス・ヒルズ(1859-1952)の再現として作成されたヴィンテージ・ステンドグラス作品です。

    美しいパステルカラーで彩色されまるで絵画を見ているような気持になります。

    オリジナルの作品はボストン美術館に展示されております。

    ローラ・クームス・ヒルズは水彩画とパステル画、特に花の静物画を専門とするアメリカ人の芸術家です。

    フラットなガラスに、透過性エナメルペインティングで彩色され表面に起伏があり、フレームは金属製です。

    そしてハンドメイド品で焼成処理を経ているので年月が経ったとしても色褪せることがありません。

    フレームの下部の端に、Larkspur, Peonies, and Canterbury Bells Laura Coombs Hillsと(C)1991 Museum of Fine Arts Bostonと彼女のサイン、Toronto Stained Glass Made in /fait au Canadaと書かれています。

    光に透かすと、驚くほど美しく、エレガントな色合いと存在感を見せてくれるステンドグラスです。

    こちらの作品は壁にかける用の穴が上部についていますので様々な用途に利用していただけます。

    カナダにあるトロント・ステンドグラス社はアメリカにあるグラスマスターズ・オブ・ザ・ステンドグラス・ギルド(通称グラスマスターズ社)ｔ同様に、ニューヨークのメトロポリタン美術館をはじめ、多くの美術館や博物館からレプリカの委託ライセンス生産を受け様々なショップで販売されていました。

    しかし非常に残念なことに、現在は閉鎖してしまいました。
