    ご覧の様な（真筆）川端玉章 自筆 龍図（扇面画）/川端茂章 識箱入です。

    ご覧の様な川端玉章自身の手によって描かれた作品です。
    素朴ながらも独特の存在感を醸し出す龍図であり、
    大変魅力的な作品です。
    又、箱は息子の川端茂章による識箱となっております。

    《　川端玉章　》
    天保１３年（１８４２年）～大正２年（１９１３年）
    日本画家。
    蒔絵師・左兵衛の子。本名・滝之助。
    中島来章氏に学び、画論を小田海僊氏に学ぶ。
    １８６６年 江戸に移り高橋由一氏に油絵を学ぶ。
    １８８２年 第一回内国絵画共進会、１８８４年 第二回で銅賞。
    １８８９年 東京美術学校に円山派の教師として迎えられる。
    １８９６年 帝室技芸員、１８９７年 古社寺保存会委員。
    １８９８年 日本美術院会員、文展開設以来審査員を務める。
    １９１０年 川端画学校を開設。

    日本画家。明治１６年（１８８３）東京生。川端玉章の子。
    名は敬男、字は璞父。画を父に学ぶ。
    川端画学校教授・副主幹となった。
