    ▲商品説明▲和紙サイズ（約）：440×315ｍｍ　絵サイズ（約）：378×247ｍ　技法（種別）：木版画　紙質：和紙　

    世界的芸術家、葛飾北斎。その『諸国名橋奇覧』シリーズ中の『飛越の堺』です。龍香堂と親交の有る版画研究室から買い取りました。北斎の描いた見事な橋梁を、手摺木版で忠実に復刻した作品です。

    ◎当品は和紙１枚の状態です。額飾しておりません。

    ※画像４は版木の一部と裏面の画像です。版画用染料が裏写りしているのは、印刷ではないことの証しです。

    ●「諸国名橋奇覧（しょこくめいきょうきらん）」：「富嶽三十六景」「千絵の海」「諸国滝廻り」等と同時期頃に発表された全11図の名所絵揃。江戸時代後期には、絵入りの名所案内、現在のガイドブックにあたる「名所図会」の刊行が盛んであった。当シリーズは全国の珍しい橋をモチーフに描かれており、殆どは実在する橋であるが、伝説上の橋も含まれている。

    【作品解説】「飛越の堺つりはし」（ひえつのさかいつりはし）：「飛越の堺」とは現在の飛騨（岐阜県）と越中（富山県）の山間を指す。そんな高所に架かる簡素な吊り橋を、夫婦であろうか二人連れが渡っている。重さで弓なりに撓む橋には手摺も無く、下界の谷間は雲に隠れて見えない。まるで曲芸師を見る様な緊張感の中、空には鳥が舞い、崖には鹿が遊んでいる。大胆な命懸けの構図に対し、余りにも穏やか過ぎる景色が誠に見事である。実際にこの作は、地名の指定は有るものの橋は特定出来ず、北斎は伝承を基に想像で描いたと言われている。
