    「中国古代画派大図範本・北方山水画派三：碑旧石図を読む」は李成平遠景の代表作で、
    現在は日本大阪市立美術館に蔵されています。
    碑の側に「王暁人物、李成樹石」という本があります。
    二人が協力しているにもかかわらず、明らかに李成を主としています。
    図左の何本かの落葉が尽きる古木は、縮れて仰向けになり、草のつるがよじ登ってきて、
    背景が空いていて悲しみを含んでいます。
    石碑の右に立って亀座の竜の額、碑の前の一人は笠をかぶってロバに乗って碑文を仰ぎ見ています。
    もう一人は杖をついて立って彼のところを見ています。
    画面はきわめて簡潔であるが見る者には強烈で深い思いを感じさせる。
    それは深く描写する古木に力を入れて地が果てしない。
    気候が厳しいことにつきあうことを表示して、しかし強靱で粘り強くて力がある精神の力を維持して、
    それは1つの世の変転を経験した老人のようで自分の歴史を訴えて、
    あるいはそれ自身は揺れ動く歴史の証人です。
