    山口素絢（やまぐちそけん）江戸後期の円山派の画家。京都生。性は橘、字は伯綾、のち伯後、通称を武次郎、号は山斎。円山応拳の門で、十哲の1人。特に美人画に著名で同門の駒井源琦が唐美人の長じたのに対し、優雅な和美人を得意とした。 また花鳥画も能くする。文政元年（1818）60才 極め箱＝「西川完瑛」名は謙、字は子受、通称を謙一郎、完瑛は号。西山芳園の子。画法を父に受け、人物・花鳥を能くする。 また儒学を後藤松陰の門に学び、藩州明石候に仕える。四条派の画家。大阪生。明治30年没 64才 大変細かく繊細に書かれた圓山派の巨匠、山口素絢筆 美人画大幅掛け軸になります。金襴仕立て表具で見事なお品でございます。某家茶人の旧蔵されておりました作品であり長年蔵に保存されておりました。二度とこのような大作は入手できないと思いますのでこの機会にお求めください。 状態：経年考慮し状態のいい物です。 生地：中廻し＜金襴刺繍正絹＞ 一文字・風帯＜なし＞ 想定表具の時代＜明治期頃＞ サイズ：軸本体＜162×78＞ 軸先
