    状態の良い美品です。


    26歳の若さでこの世を去った夭折の浮世絵師・井上安治（探景）の
    全134点からなる小判錦絵のシリーズ。
    明治14年（1881）頃から、安治の亡くなる明治22年（1889）と、
    その短い作画期を通して描かれた代表作で、
    刊行当時は、明治になり全国から上京してきた人々から、
    文明開化東京を伝えるものとして人気を集めた。
    元々は師である小林清親の”光線画”を継ぐ形で出されたもので、
    100点を越える東京風景を短期間で仕上げる必要性からか、
    清親の構図と同じ、もしくはそれに倣ったものが半数近く見られる。
    しっとりと情緒的な清親に対して、
    安治の作はより写実的で、西洋絵画の影響が強く見られる。
