    ◆商品の説明◆

    手作りのガラストップで仕立てたネックレスです。
    ウメバチソウの花をモチーフにしたガラストップとなります。

    ウメバチソウは山野の日当たりの良い湿地に生える野草です。
    ８月から１０月に白い花を咲かせます。

    花の形が梅鉢紋に似ていることからその名がついた野草ですが、着目すべきはその雄しべの形状です。
    雄しべは５個ですが花粉を出さない仮雄しべも５個あり、仮雄しべの先は糸状に細かく分裂しています。

    その姿はとてもきれいで、初めてこの花を見たときはこんなにきれいな野草もあるのかと感動したものです。

    ただその花の形をガラスの中に再現するのは難しく、今回ようやく技法に目処が立ち、なんとか咲かせてみました。
    雄しべは花びらから飛び出しているので、光の当て方によって雄しべが輝き、より美しく見えます（２枚目と３枚目の写真を参考）。

    この作品では、３輪の花を咲かせています。
    その背後には広卵形の葉っぱを４枚配置しました。
    地面は湿った山の土です。小石を配置して所々に苔も生やしました。

    パッと見た目は地味ですが、よく見ていると愛着が沸いてくる、そんな玉となりました。

    なおガラストップの表面は、通常のとんぼ玉とは異なり、平らに仕上げています。
    このためレンズ効果が抑えられ、花の姿がゆがみ少なく見えています。
    またガラスの中には小泡を配置して、ガラスらしさを表現しました。

    ※ 以下の点を予めご了承ください。
    ・トップの表面は完全な平らではなく、微かなでこぼこがあります。
    ・トップの裏側は、ポンテ（作業用のガラス棒）の接合跡が残っています。そのため完全な平らではありません。
    ・写真の１円玉は大きさ比較用です。商品には含まれません。
