    商品説明
    作品解説(とうごう・せいじ)1897年鹿児島県出身。1978年81才没。生涯に渡り女性像を描き続けた画家。挿絵やイラスト・広告デザインの仕事も受けていたが、ほぼ9割方の作品は女性像である。昭和の美人画として一世を風靡し、画面に筆跡(マチエール)を残さないように描く技法は未だに多くの画家達に影響を与えている。本作品は、鑑定書が付属した水彩作品。男女が描かれており、ピカソのキュビズムやシュルレアリスムの影響も感じられる習作。作品の雰囲気から比較的若年の頃の作品と思われる。女性画を中心として描いてきた東郷青児にしか描けない平面性と男女の愛を感じられる作品。
