    【略歴】



    1908年-1999年 青森県生まれ。
    1922年 旧制青森中学入学と同時に制作を始め、棟方志功、松木満史らの青光画社に参加。日本美術学校洋画科在学中、第17回二科展初入選。卒業後は絶対象派協会の結成、美術文化協会の創立にも参加。
    1945年　二科会再建のために会員として復帰
    1964年　青森県褒賞受賞
    1966年　第51回二科展で青児賞受賞
    1967年　第52回二科展で総理大臣賞受賞
    1979年　二科会は社団法人として発足し、理事に就任
    1990年　七戸町名誉町民の称号を受ける
    1994年　鷹山宇一記念美術館開館、名誉館長となる
    1999年　逝去
