    【作家紹介】
    １９４０年、新潟県に生まれ。版画家としての勉強の傍ら、２０歳の時に、東宝に入社。 様々な装飾美術を手掛ける。その後、フリーになり、映画、 ＣＭ界で活躍。特に、黒澤明監督、岡本喜八監督、大林宣 彦監督、伊丹十三監督ら日本映画の巨匠達の作品に参加し、’９２年度日本アカデミー賞協会特別賞を受賞。背景美術の傍ら、米米クラブのＣＤジャケットの製作に参加し、代官山の カールスモーキー石井氏（米米クラブ）のブティック装飾にも携わる。又、台湾国立 博物館の依頼で、その内装画を製作した。空・雲を描かせたら彼の右に出る者はいない。’９３年より、 空をテーマにしたリミテッド・エディションの製作を開始し、次々に魅力的 なスカイアートを発表し続けている。国内外でCM・美術館などから製作依頼が殺到中。
