    1948年-
    山形博導。滋賀県坂田郡米原町に生まれる。
    1984年　ロス市観光誘致キャンペーン公式ポスター制作。ロードアイランド州が9月21日を「ヒロ・ヤマガタの日」とし、同州ワーウィック市より名誉市民の称号が贈られる。
    また東京で初個展開催。
    米国オリンピック協会からのロサンゼルスやカルガリーオリンピックの公式ポスターの制作依頼や、米国政府や公的機関から数々のポスターの依頼を受けている。
    他、アートワークのテーマは絵画だけにとどまらず、ビンテージ・メルセデスベンツへ自然と産業の融合をテーマにペインティングする「アースリーパラダイス」や、1997年のアカデミー賞のパーティ会場のデザインを手掛けた事等でも有名である。
