    1971 ソ連画家同盟・ソ日協会の招きで訪ソ、モスクワ東方民族博物館で個展
    1978 台北市国家画廊で個展
    1980 北京中央美術学院の招きで木版画講習会開催
    1987 北海道立近代美術館の「美術北海道100年展」に出品
    1993 北海道新聞社より「ミュージアム（13）・北岡文雄-光と風の版風景」を刊行

    '56年フランスから帰国後、妻幽子の郷里札幌に滞在。その間北海道の版画界に大きな影響を与える。一時抽象や幻想的な版画を試みたが、'60年以降は写実を基調とした木版画を多彩に繰り広げる。また木版画を通して国際交流を図る。
