    世界的芸術家、葛飾北斎。その『富嶽三十六景』中の『深川万年橋下』です。龍香堂と親交の有る版画研究室から買い取りました。北斎の描いた富士の自然な美を、手摺木版で忠実に復刻した作品です。

    ◎こちらは額に入れた状態なので、すぐに飾ることが出来ます。

    ※画像３は版木の一部と裏面の画像です。版画用染料が裏写りしているのは、印刷ではないことの証しです。

    ●「富嶽三十六景」四十六枚は、古来日本人のすべてに愛され親しまれてきた。富士山を中心に、自然界の風景を幾何学的要素に還元して見る手法を縦横に駆使し、清新な色調で組絵の面白さを求めた傑作で、北斎五十年間の画業は、まさに此処に凝縮されていたと言えます。更に、西洋から輸入された人工顔料ベルリアン・ブルーを用い、従来の藍よりも一際鮮やかな発色が評判になり大流行を呼びました。

    【作品解説】「深川万年橋下」（ふかがわまんねんばしした）
    万年橋は、江戸深川を流れる小名木川が隅田川に合流する地点にかかる橋である。両岸の建物を西洋画風の透視遠近法で描き、更に中央に大きく描かれた太鼓橋とその橋桁越しに富士を見る大胆な構図は見る者を驚かせる。だが少しも奇異でなく、落付いた一幅の絵となっているのは、橋の美しいアーチとすっきり仕上げられた色彩の印象であろう。
