本紙サイズ　縦径：95.5センチ　横径：27.5センチ

●明堂宗宣：江戸後期の臨済宗の僧。大徳寺四百二十九世。丹波生。
明堂は道号、宗宣は諱、舂米子・返照山人と号する。
森川曽文に学び、卓抜した画技で知られる。墨竹を得意とする。天保8年(1837)寂、70才。

●宙宝宗宇 【ちゅうほう そうう】：江戸後期の臨済宗の僧。大徳寺四百十八世。
京都生。宙宝は道号、宗宇は諱、松月老人と号する。
大徳寺四百六世則道宗軌に就いてその法を嗣ぐ。
天保7年仁孝天皇より大光真照禅師の号を賜る。
天保9年(1838)寂、79才。

●森山歓渓:臨済宗の僧。大徳寺五百五世。島根県生。
諱は哲明・紹忻、号は清涼。河野古亮に法をうけ、四百九十六世好清紹因を嗣ぐ。
臨済宗第十代管長に就任し、龍源院に住した。昭和30年(1955)寂、67才。
