    額に傷が見られます。画面に変色箇所があります。差し箱（破け、劣化があります。）、黄袋が付属いたします。

    林武　1896年～1975年
    1920年の二科展で初入選、1922年には二科会賞を受賞。
    1930年 二科会を脱会し、独立美術協会の創立に参加。
    1934年から一年間渡仏し、パリで創作活動を行なう。
    帰国後は東京藝術大学の教授を務めるなど後進の育成にも貢献した。
    作風は独特の構図と強い印象を与える色彩を大胆に使いこなし、特に肖像画・風景画がよく知られている。
