    佐藤勝彦（さとうかつひこ）
    1940 旧満州大連生まれ
    1947 7歳で岡山へ引き揚げる
    1960 無理がたたり、重度の結核になり入院。病院で友人の死に出会う。そのときから生きる喜びを知りプラス思考になる
    1963 鳥取大学卒業／奈良の私立小学校の教師となり、教わるべき小学生に『物づくり』を学び創作意欲が湧く
    1968 中川一政の作品展に影響を受け創作活動を開始
    1974 辻村史朗に刺激され作陶も手がける
    1975 文化出版局・季刊「銀花」に挿入の8万枚の肉筆画を描き話題となる／以降、猛烈な勢いで絵を描き、陶を焼き、絵つけをする
    1977 森英恵第１回パリ・オートクチュール展にて衣装発表
    1980 NHK教育テレビ「現代の絵師たち」に出演
    1984 NHK教育テレビ「こころの時代」に出演
    1991 テレビ東京・テレビ大阪・KBS京都「美に生きる」に出演／静岡県大型
    観光キャンペーンポスター制作
    1994 NHK BS「日本焼物紀行 私のコレクション」に出演
    2003 第79回箱根駅伝公式ポスター制作
    2017 逝去（77歳）

    ＜特徴＞
    画壇に属さない画家として、独特の仏教観に根ざした豪放な書画を描き続けた。日本各地で1000回を超えるほどの個展を催すほか、西ドイツやフランス・パリでも個展を多数開催。小椋桂や北島三郎のCDジャケットなども手掛けた。
    著書に「ありゃせん・ありゃせん」「こころの書」（文化出版局）ほか多数。
