    北海道の泊村、カブト岬一帯の海岸線は、その美しさから「後志十景」に指定されています。

    山岸正巳（やまぎしまさみ）
    1929 北海道共和町生まれ
    1944 道展に入選
    1946 上京し、西村計雄にデッサンの教えを受ける
    1952 東京美術学校油絵科卒（安井教室）
    1953 一水会展に出品（6回入選）
    1965 1年間渡仏、イギリス、イタリア、スイスなどへスケッチ旅行
    1969 「財界さっぽろ」「月刊政界」「月刊さっぽろ」等の表紙に作品を掲載
    1972 洞爺協会病院に急性肝臓炎で入院
    1976 札幌で個展開催
    1977 岩内郷土館大壁画600号制作
    1979 NHKテレビ「北海道の窓-パリの子供を描く」、NHKラジオの対談に出演
    1982 北海道知事田中・町村・堂垣内の肖像画制作（道庁蔵）
    2004 岩内で逝去
    2005 西村計雄記念美術館で「山岸正巳追悼展」開催
