1738－1814*　江戸時代中期-後期の儒者。元文3年生まれ。朝鮮の王族李氏の子孫高本氏の養子。肥後熊本藩の医師。のち藩校時習館の教授となる。国学にも通じて本居宣長(もとおり-のりなが)らとまじわり,高山彦九郎とも親交をむすぶ。「銀台遺事」を編集した。文化10年12月26日死去。76歳。本姓は原田。名は順(したごう)。字(あざな)は子友。通称は慶順,慶蔵,のち敬蔵。著作に「座右観省(ざゆうかんせい)」など。
