    題名：「シチリアのシエスタ」  Title：「Sicilian siesta」

    描画用のシナベニアパネルに描かれている。
    額は新品同様の在庫品です。目立たぬ細かな傷はご容赦下さい。

    この絵は作者がシチリアに滞在した折にスケッチしたものが土台となっている。
    シチリアは地中海にあるが、夏の地中海の空は深く暗い青色で絵にするのは難しい。
    とても暑い所なので、昼食は自宅で済ませた後、午睡をとるようだ。
    民家の通りは静まり返ってどこにも人影は無い。
    深く青い空と、民家の暗い影、静まり返った通り・・・何故かとても惹きつけられた。

    作者小原雅夫は、かつては国内の地方展や全国展で入選入賞を重ねていましたが、
    2011年以降はヨーロッパの展覧会で精力的に発表を続け、
    画家の登竜門パリのサロン・ド－トンヌ（下記参照）で5回入選する他、ポルトガルジャパンエクスポ、スペイン美術賞展、イタリア美術賞展、パリ国際サロン展、クロアチアでの美術展などに入選しています。

    近年では、
    2020年パーラービーズ・アート部門優秀賞受賞、
    202１年パリの世界最古の公募展ル・サロン（下記参照）入選、
    2021年スペイン美術賞展招待出品、
    国内での個展は毎年１～２回行っている。

    ※ル・サロン展について
    1667年より340年続く世界最古の歴史と伝統を持つフランスの国際公募展。
    1648年ルイ14世統治下のフランスにおいて、王立絵画・彫刻アカデミー（現フランス学士院）が誕生し、1667年に“パレ・ロワイヤル”にて「官展」が開催されました。1725年に同展がルーヴル宮殿に場所を移し、1737年に公共の展覧会となった頃より「サロン」として知られるようになり、フランス文化に強い影響を及ぼす様になりました。
    1855年ナポレオン3世がこの初期のサロンを国際作家の数千点もの作品を展示する国際展の規模へと発展。1881年にはジュールフェリが組織「フランス芸術家協会（Societe des artistes francais）」を設立した事から、ル・サロンはフランス芸術家協会が運営を引き継ぎました。19世紀以降は現在の【グランパレ】に移り、芸術家に門戸を開く国際展として、今日に至るまでル・サロンの運営を担っています。今なお、具象絵画の登竜門的存在で、世界で通用する。

    ※サロン・ドートンヌ展について
    サロン・ドートンヌ展は1903年、マティス、ルオー、ジュルダン、ヴュイヤール、マルケ、ボナール、カモワン、フリエスらの参加によって産声を上げたフランスの美術展覧会である。
    現在でもなおパリが芸術の都といわれるのもサロン・ドートンヌ展があってのことだったともいえる。歴代の作家達の顔ぶれも魅力的で、モディリアーニ、セザンヌ、ピカソ、ブラック、ルノワール、ミロ、ユトリロ、ルドン、カリエール、ドラン、ヴラマンク、ヴァン・ドンゲンらが活躍して来た。小山敬三、佐伯祐三、蕗谷虹児、高野三三男、ベル・串田、織田広喜、鶴岡義雄、舘井啓明、ヒロ・ヤマガタ、杉山冽ら、実力派日本人作家達も登竜門として数多く挑戦してきた。
