    旧家のお宅からです。本紙に斑点シミ汚れ等が見られます。

    金島桂華 かなしま-けいか
    1892－1974　大正-昭和時代の日本画家。
    明治25年6月29日生まれ。西家桂州,平井直水に師事,のち竹内栖鳳(せいほう)に入門。
    大正14年「芥子(けし)」が帝展で特選。昭和12年京都市美術工芸学校教諭となり,
    画塾衣笠(きぬがさ)会を主宰する。29年「冬田」で芸術院賞。
    芸術院会員。昭和49年9月16日死去。82歳。広島県出身。本名は政太。
