    世界的浮世絵師、喜多川歌麿。その作の浮世絵版画『難波屋おきた』です。龍香堂と親交の有る版画研究室から買い取りました。歌麿の得意とする美人画を手摺木版で忠実に復刻した作品です。

    ◎こちらは額に入れた状態なので、すぐに飾ることが出来ます。

    ●喜多川 歌麿：江戸時代に活躍した浮世絵師の代表的な一人。喜多川派の祖である。国際的にもよく知られる浮世絵師として葛飾北斎と並び称される。当初は黄表紙や洒落本などの挿絵を描く。肉筆画・春画にも優れ、ついで役者の大首絵を美人画に採用。寛政期、鳥居清長と並ぶ美人画の第一人者となった。繊細で優麗な描線を特徴とし、さまざまな姿態、表情の女性美を追求した美人画の大家である。

    【作品解説】難波屋おきた（なにわやおきた）
    浅草観音境内の水茶屋、難波屋の娘おきたは美人で愛敬もよく客扱いも親切だったため、店の前に人だかりができ、水をまいて追い払わなければならないほどの評判だったという。歌麿を始め多くの浮世絵師たちに描かれ人気を得た。この、茶托をもって立つおきたは、歌麿が最も脂の乗り切った頃の作晶で、幾多のおきたの絵柄の中でもこれは特に優れている。淡藍のひとえに黒濡子の幅広の帯、高く結いあげた娘島田から美事に流れるうなじの線と、全体の構図も申分がない。
