    ●イギリスの水彩画家、デビッド・エヴァンスの水彩画作品集

    ●熱心な環境保護主義者でもあったエヴァンスは、サッチャー時代の環境汚染、原子力発電所の建設、フォークランド戦争、東西冷戦といったテーマを
    自身の作品の中に散りばめていきました。

    ●1960年代後半から1980年代後半までの20年間、創作活動を続けていましたが、1988年、突然の交通事故により死去（享年59歳）。
    SF的、幻想的な氏の水彩画は、今見ても新鮮、それでいて懐かしさを感じさせてくれます。

    ●2017年に開催された氏の回顧展に合わせて刊行された1冊
