    ■作品紹介
    「とりで」小山田二郎によるキャンバスに油彩4号です。 1914年中国生まれ。1919年遠縁の日本画家・小堀鞆音から透明水彩を学びました。1934年帝国美術学校図案科に入学し、1935年西洋画科へ転入しましたが、1936年中退。1944年大日本印刷に入社。1947年自由美術家協会に入会。1952年初個展開催。1991年77歳で逝去。幼少期の病気による容姿コンプレックス、空襲による作品の全焼、晩年の失踪など、その衝撃的な境遇、そして作品は未だなお異彩を放っています。
