    田坂乾 ・・ （たさかけん）明治３８年（１９０５）～平成９年（１９９７）                                 
                      東京麹町出身
                      昭和３年、文化学院美術科卒業。石井柏亭、有島生馬、山下新太郎に師事
                      在学中の大正元年、同人誌「シェル・パントル」に参加し、第3号の『扉』～第6号の『窓』などを木版で手掛ける
                      卒業制作『M・M像』で第15回二科展に初入選
                      昭和４年頃、西田武雄にエッチングを学ぶ。
                      昭和６年、上海、杭州に滞在。上海で太田貢との二人展を開催し、油絵の他に日本で制作した銅版画12点を出品
                      初日に来場した魯迅が銅版画1点を購入したという
                      昭和１０年、第4回日本版画協会展に石版画『庭』『婦人像』が初入選
                      第5回展で会員に推挙され、第8回展には木版画も出品。昭和１８年、青樹社で初個展を開く
                      昭和２１年、日本版画協会を退会し、以後油絵に専念
                      戦後は一水会会員として、風景をモチーフに油彩・水彩画家として写実的な作風を発表
                      昭和３０年、一水会優賞を受賞。個展も多く開く。著書に『父の像」『実地指導油絵の描き方」など
                      一水会常任委員。享年９１歳
