    戦後まもなく、生地貿易を行っていた前身の「港商商会（港商）」で、米兵が日本駐留の記念としてオリエンタルな柄（鷲、虎、龍等）や、所属していた部隊、基地名等を自分たちのジャケットに刺繍したのが始まりとされ、後に「土産物(スーベニア)」として商品化され、各地の「PX（Post Exchange/米軍基地内の売店）」で販売されるようになった「スカジャン（スーベニアジャケット/Souvenir Jacket/横須賀ジャンパー）」を作り始め、古き良き時代の「アメリカンカジュアル（アメカジ/American casual）」、「ヴィンテージクロージング（Vintage Clothing）」を忠実に再現した、「TAILOR TOYO（テーラー東洋）」、「Buzz Rickson's（バズリクソンズ）」、「Sun Surf（サンサーフ）」、「John Severson（ジョン・セバーソン）」、「Indian Motorcycle（インディアンモーターサイクル）」、「Cheswick（チェスウィック）」、「Style Eyes（スタイルアイズ）」、「Whitesville（ホワイツビル）」、「CAT'S PAW（キャッツポウ）」等を手掛ける、日本が誇るべき老舗ウェア・カンパニー「東洋エンタープライズ（TOYO ENTERPRISE）」内に、1975年に設立された、1900～1950年代までのアメリカの「ヴィンテージクロージング（Vintage Clothing）」、「ワークウェア（Work Wear）」に焦点を当てた衣類の生産に着手しているブランド、〔SUGAR CANE（シュガーケーン/SUGARCANE）〕の、〔チェック柄（plaid/checked/checkered）・ウエスタンシャツ（Western Shirt）〕になります。

    首元の襟、左右の腕（袖）の先端部付近に、着用に伴う色あせ、汚れ、薄汚れが見られます。


    シャツ表面に3点、左腕に2点ほど汚れ、ちょっとした汚れが見られます。


    着用に伴う使用感、色あせ、薄いヤケ、薄汚れ、若干の汚れ、毛羽立ち、小キズ等見られますが、コレクションとして大切に保管していた物ですので、まだまだ着用の方はして頂けるかと思います。
