    1971年に、当時カリフォルニア大学の学生だった「Eric Reynolds（エリック・レイノルズ）」氏、「Dave Huntley（デイヴ・ ハントリー）」氏が、アラスカで行われた、氷河研究プロジェクトにてブランドの前身となる「Marmot Club（マーモット・クラブ）」を結成したことから歴史をスタートさせ、1974年に、アメリカ・コロラド州・グランドジャンクションにて設立され、1976年にアウトドアブランドとして初めての、アメリカの「W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc.（WLゴア&アソシエイツ/ゴア社）」が製造販売する、防水透湿性素材「GORE-TEX（ゴアテックス）」を採用した事でも知られる、老舗アウトドア・ブランド、〔Marmot（マーモット）〕の、キャップフロントの右下部（右耳側）付近に、シンプルながらインパクトのある「M」ロゴの刺繍、ツバ（バイザー）の左サイド（左耳側）付近に「Marmot」ロゴの刺繍が施された、〔Mロゴ刺繍・ウール混合・キャップ〕になります。


    街での着用はもちろんですが、アウトドア、キャンプ、登山、旅行、ショッピング、サイクリング、スケートボード、ドライブ、ツーリング、ダンス、音楽フェスティバル、イベント、ライブなど、場所を選ばず様々な環境で着用していただけるかと思います。
