    Item Description

    晒しを2枚あわせた刺し子のふきんの出品です。

    大きさは、約縦30.5cm×横35.0cmです。

    『からくさ模様』の出品です。

    グラデーションの藍染めの糸に一目惚れして、何を刺そうかと悩んだ末、白抜きした『からくさ模様』にしました。

    唐草の図案を先に刺して、そのあとは、フリーハンドでひたすらぐし縫いをしました。

    遠目に見ないと、からくさ模様はわかりにくいですが、真ん中に赤い糸で『karakusa-moyo』とステッチしてみました。

    手に取った感じは、とても柔らかくて、正にふきんです。

    画像によって、生地や糸の色合いが違うように見えるのですが、色合いは7枚目の画像が近いかと思います。

    布巾だけでなく、ランチョンマットやティーポットなどの下に敷いたり、埃除けやハンカチ、額に入れて飾っていただいたり…としてお使いください。

    晒し、糸は、綿100%です。

    ひと針ひと針丁寧に刺しておりますが、素人のハンドメイド作品ですので、ご理解頂ける方のみご入札ください。

    針目の不揃い、縫い縮み、歪みがあります。

    仕上がり後の水通しはしていません。

    軽くアイロンをかけています。


    《作り手として…》

    白抜きのからくさ模様が浮き上がるのが好きです。

    生成りと藍染めのグラデーション糸を、写真では、うまく表現できてないですが、とてもステキな色の糸です。

    フリーハンドで自由に、好きなように刺すのは、楽しかったです。
