 商品名：手積み苧麻糸 約470d

 重さ：4巻で合計約90g

【商品のご紹介】

  苧麻糸とはイラクサ科の多年生植物から作られます。

 沖縄では宮古上布の原料として古くから用いられ、

 大変高級な素材とされています。

 刈り取った苧麻の茎から表皮を採取し、

そこから繊維を採り出していきます。

 その繊維を結ばず指で撚りを入れながら繋いでいき糸となります。

 全てが手作業の為、大変手間と時間がかかり、

 昨今では生産数量が僅かとなっているようです。 

大変貴重な「手積み苧麻糸」を是非この機会にご利用頂ければ幸いです。

  太さ比較の為に写っているのは シャープペンシルの0.5mm替え芯です。
