    現在、4cm屈折赤道儀、というのがないので、自分で組んでみよう、と思って組んだのがこれです。こんなのが一万円なんて、高過ぎる、とお思いだと思いますけど、これを組む費用はそれ以上でしたし、手間もかかっています。それなりにスマートさと性能も意識しています。赤道儀はヤフオクでよく見掛けるものですが、余計なパーツは外してアルミ風のツマミを追加。錘は百均のケースにセメントを詰めたものを作って一キロ軽量化。微動にガタはありませんが、赤経は少し遊びがあります。赤緯粗動は硬いです。鏡筒はヤフオクで手に入れたものをレンズはスコープテックのものに換装しています。カメラ雲台用クイックシューをアリガタにしてありますから、カメラ雲台にもビクセン規格アリミゾにも付きます。アメリカンサイズ地上プリズムを付けられるようにしていますので、現在のアイピースを使えます。ドローチューブは旧規格なのでケラレが心配ですが、手持ちの広角低倍率アイピースではケラレません。対物レンズはジフラクションリングも解る本格的なものですが、貼り合わせ式なので、分離式F6のタカハシH型程の見え味までいきませんが、80倍くらいの広角アイピースで見る月はなかなかの迫力です。超軽量なので野鳥観察にも楽チンです。絞り環が入ってないのでコントラストは低めです。三脚は定評あるスリックグランドマスターです。エレベーターは便利です。素人加工でヤワな部分がありますけど、小型軽量なのは何より便利です。
