    重厚な雰囲気のキャビネットです。
    お城や教会の門のような雰囲気のする金具類ですね。
    このサイズ感としてはやや薄型と言えるでしょうか、ほど良い大きさと言えるサイズも魅力です。

    ゴシックと言えば荘厳とも言えるような重厚デザインで、ヨーロッパの教会などに多いデザインですね。
    教会のトレーサリー窓(tracery)などにこのようなデザインがありますよね。
    フランボワイヤン(flamboyant)・火炎様式とも言われるデザインです。
    12世紀頃から始まったゴシック様式は18世紀後半にゴシックリバイバル(ネオゴシック)運動がおこるなど、数百年にもわたりヨーロッパで愛されているデザインだと言えます。
    その割には全然見つからないのですが、家具というよりは建築として様式なんでしょうかね。
    教会で使われるものが多いですね。

    下扉内の棚板はのちに作られたもののようです。
