１８５１年にロンドンで開催された万博博覧会記念の大型銀メダルの出品です。

ウィリアムワイオンとその息子、レオナルドチャールズワイオンの合作です。

オモテ面はヴィクトリア女王とアルバート公、三叉槍、2頭のイルカ、
ウラ面には左側にイギリスを擬人化したブリタニア、右側に各大陸を擬人化した立像が描かれています。

銀ですか？と言う質問に対する回答になります。 Ｘ線でメダル表面が99％Ａｇ（銀）と測定され中身も比重計により10.5の値がでましたので純銀に近いと予測されます。 これ以上の事は当方では分かりかねます。
