1805年にロンドンで出版された Curtis's Botanical Magazineの一葉です。

タイトルは「Salvia chamaedrioides.」、

現在使われている学名は「Salvia chamaedryoides」、

原画はSydenham Edwards.によるものです。

ボタニカルマガジン初期の作品で、銅版画に手で丁寧に彩色されています。

プリントは220年近く前の物で、ごく薄いヤケがありますが良い状態です。
