    Item Description

    江戸後期の再興九谷の吉田屋窯青手九谷深鉢です。

    炻器系の素地で、再興九谷初期頃に九谷古窯で焼成されたものです。（磁器質で精巧な薄手のものは山代越中谷時代のものと区別されています。）

    素地は比較的厚くカリッと焼きあがっており、見込みには黄地に紫、青、緑の菊文様が目に鮮やかな美しい発色を見せています。

    高台内には黄地に緑と黒で角福が書かれ、側面は吉田屋窯の特徴的な唐草文様が見られます。(吉田屋窯の唐草文様については参考写真を載せています。)

    ご覧のように口縁に割れの金直しと高台の畳み付きに小さい窯傷があります。

    青手九谷の作品には多くの写しものが出回っていますので、あえて再興九谷初期頃の吉田屋窯であることを保証いたします。
