    ●陰陽説
    森羅万象のすべてを陰と陽の二相に還元する思想。陰と陽とは互いに対極 の
    本質を持つが、事物に固有の属性ではなく相対的に決まる性質があると します。
    それは例えば日中のろうそくの火は陰だが、暗闇では陽となる、 というようなこと
    です。陰陽説によれば、天地創世は次のように説明されます。 「もともと宇宙は
    天地未分化の混沌状態」だったが、やがて軽く澄んだ 気「陽」が 上昇して天となり、
    続いて重く濁った気「陰」が沈んで地と なった。 つまり陰と陽はひとつの混沌状態
    （太極）から派生したものであり、 いわば同根の関係にあり、そして互いに往来・交
    合する性質があります。
    ●五行説
    五行説はもともと陰陽説とは別個に発展した五元論のようなものでしたが、 陰陽説と
    結びついた結果、気の５つの様態を表すようになりました。陰陽 五行説では、陰と陽が
    交合した五つの状態を「木・火・土・金・水」と分 類します。この中で木気は最も陽で水気
    は最も陰、土気はちょうど中間の 状態とされます。
