    野田修一郎の「稲田」と題された掛軸になります。

    大粒のお米を実らせた稲穂が田んぼの中で揺れ動いています。
    稲穂を揺らしたのは飛び去っていく合鴨たちでしょうか、、、。

    秋を感じさせる素朴な一枚です。
    肌に当たる風が少しずつ冷たさを帯びてきた今日この頃。
    片田舎の原風景にそっと想いを寄せてみてはいかがでしょうか。

    野田修一郎［19311993］
    山梨県甲府市の生まれ。
    戦後上京し、日本画家山田申吾に師事。
    1951年に東京藝術大学日本画科に入学する。
    1974年に初めて日展に出品し、特選を受賞。
    以後、日春展で日春賞と奨励賞、日展の再度特選を受けた。
    山田申吾の没後は加藤東一に師事し、馬を生涯にわたるモチーフとし、哀愁を帯びた表現と落ち着いた色彩の作品を描いた。
