《概要》

世界的に有名な宝飾品ブランドの“ティファニー社”の創業者の息子にしてガラス工芸作家であり、

アメリカにおけるアール・ヌーヴォーの第一人者として知られるルイス・C・ティファニー。

こちらは、彼によって作成された、「虹」をモチーフとしたステンドグラス作品です。

透き通るような鮮やかな青に目を惹かれる大変存在感のあるお品になります。

光を通した時の色合いが柔らかく、青い空に架かる虹が、家の中を優しく照らしてくれます。

木々や花々、山や水に至るまで、自然の風景を一枚のガラスに閉じ込めた美しい作品だと思います。

「Louis C. Tiffany」と「Glassmasters Made in USA 」の記載があります。

グラスマスター社はアメリカが誇るガラスクラフトメーカーです。

世界中で美術品としても大変評価が高く、アメリカの伝統的な職人業を継承していました。

現在は廃炉となっておりますので入手困難で希少な作品です。
