『暗闇に光るダイヤモンド』と世界中のコレクターから愛されているバルーチ絨毯。

バルーチ絨毯は、イラン、パキスタン、アフガニスタンの国境近辺に住むバルーチ族の手によって織られた手織りの絨毯です。

その色彩感覚にはとても不思議な魅力があります。

絨毯の色は赤色、茶色、濃い青がよく使用されます。

なかでもバルーチブルーとも呼ばれるミッドナイトブルー(真夜中の青)のお色はとても神秘的で美しく、妖艶な輝きを放ちます。

毛足が長めで素足での踏み心地が大変心地良い手織り絨毯。

たて糸よこ糸、ともにウールを使用しています。

ペルシャ結びの細かい織りです。

ウールは草木などの自然染料で染色されております。

細かい結びはウールをたくさん使用している証でとても踏み心地が良いです。

中央のメダリオンが華やかで幾何学モチーフのボーダーを幾重にも重ねた繊細なデザイン。

キリムエンドで仕上げられていますので、とてもしっかりとしたつくりの絨毯です。

エッジもカラフルに巻かれていて素敵です。

時代のある絨毯ですので色合いは枯れて渋みがあります。
