    脇田 和（わきた かず、1908〜2005）は昭和期に活躍した日本の洋画家。新制作協会創立会員。童話的で温かな印象を受ける作風が特徴。実子は洋画家の脇田愛二郎。

    経歴
    青山学院中等部中退後、ドイツに渡りベルリン国立美術学校に入学、人体デッサン、遠近法、木口版画、七宝等絵画に関するさまざまな技法を学ぶ。
    1955年、日本国際美術展で最優秀賞。
    1956年グッケンハイム国際美術展国内賞を受賞。
    1964年、東京芸術大学助教授となり、1970年まで同校で教授を務める。
    1991年軽井沢に脇田美術館開館。勲四等旭日小綬章。
    1998年、文化功労者。
