    床まで届く鎖にオモリを掛け、重力によって徐々に下がってくる力を動力にして動く仕組みの振り子時計です。オモリがだんだんと落ちてくるのが目に見えて分かるので、いつでも好きなタイミングで巻き上げることが可能です。
    カッコーの鳴き声は古くから変わらないフイゴによるパイプオルガン方式の笛が鳴り、時報（0分）と半時（30分）に優しい音色で時間を知らせます。スイス製オルゴールが内蔵され、カッコウ、踊り子、水車、ハンターのからくりが動き出します。
    夜間は手動レバーによる消音機能がついており、夜間のみ自動消音となるオートマチック消音モードが搭載されております。
    シュヴァルツヴァルト時計協会の認定書が付き、高い品質基準をもって生産されております。
