    岡山県にあった山陽賣薬株式會社から発売された山陽神薬です。見事な青スジ入りです。

    グルリと胴体に、首元に、底に青スジが入っています。備中売薬の貴重な品です。
     古物にご理解ある方に託したいと思います。
    なお本品はヤフーオークションのみで掲載しています。もしその他の媒体で見ている場合は、当方とは無関係ですのでご注意下さい。 

    「備中売薬」とは
     山陽賣薬株式會社を含め、岡山県総社市を中心に「備中売薬」エリアが存在しました。 
    備中売薬は、江戸時代に始まり、明治から昭和初期にかけて隆盛を極め、販路は北海道や関東地方にまで広がり、
    商品は、朝鮮半島や中国大陸まで輸出されました。
     しかし戦時期になると統制経済の対象となり、転廃業が続出。終戦前までに多くの事業者が姿を消す事になりました。


    「富山売薬の祖でもある備中売薬」
     備中売薬は江戸時代より置き薬発祥の地として名を馳せ、それが富山に伝わり富山の置き薬が有名になっていきました。
     １６８３年、備前(岡山)の藩医である万代常閑(もずじょうかん)が、越中(富山)の藩主、前田正甫(まさとし)公に、
    代々伝わる秘伝の「反魂丹(はんごんたん)」の処方を伝授。
    それをキッカケに富山売薬の薬種が増え、備中売薬の行商スタイルが富山へと伝わっていく事になりました。
     この時代の薬というのは、秘伝とされるものが多く、それが人伝てに伝わる背景には、
    こうした人の思いや恩義の様なものがあるなと反魂丹が伝わった背景や、目薬「精錡水」が生まれた背景などから感じるものがあります。
