    明治42年10月12日生まれ。商店などにつとめながら版画,書道を独学。昭和16年文展に初入選。36年「室生寺」が日展特選。東光会に属し,東洋的・日本的なものを追求した。昭和60年8月8日死去。75歳。岐阜県出身。本名は守ケ洞守造。
