作家説明	■米原二郎  1912 -1980 享年68。大阪に生まれ。独立美術協会美術研究所創設時に学び、須田国太郎に師事する。38年第8回独立展から出品し、以後同展に出品を続ける。 61年に中南米を経てヨーロッパに遊学、パリのサロン・ドートンヌにも出品する。63年と翌年の第31、32回の独立展に「屋根と煙突」と「屋根と壁」他で連続独立賞を受賞、 65年に独立美術協会会員に推挙される。68年から翌年にかけて中南米、北米に、73年にはコルシカ島に取材旅行を行う。独立展の他、東京、大阪、静岡、秋田で73年以降毎 年個展を開催する。
