    作家説明■坪内正 Tadashi Tsubouchi（1909－1996）
    1909（明治42）年広島県賀茂郡西條町(現在の東広島市)に生まれる
    1935（昭和10）年東京美術学校(現・東京芸術大学)油絵科を卒業
    1936（昭和11）2年間研究科在学
    1951（昭和26）年ニ紀会展出品 宮本三郎に師事
    1955（昭和30）年日展出品
    1957（昭和32）年光風会展出品
    1963（昭和38）年光風会会員となる
    1977（昭和52）年第1回日洋展奨励賞を受賞 日展特選を受賞(同1984年)
    1979（昭和54）年日洋展運営委員となる
    1987（昭和62）年新日洋会常任委員となる
    1988（昭和63）年日展審査員となる
    1989（平成元）年日展会員となる
    1996（平成8）年2月29日 逝去
