    作家略歴　KEN DONE
    1940年、シドニーに生まれる。
    1954年～59年、イーストシドニーの国立美術学校で美術の勉強に専念。
    卒業後広告業界に入り、クリエイティブ・ディレクター、
    アート・スーパーバイザーとして、シドニー、ニューヨーク、ロンドンで活躍。
    その間に栄誉ある「カンヌ・ゴールドライオン賞」をはじめ、数々の受賞に輝く。
    その後、1970年代後半から本格的に画家として活動を開始し、1980年の最初の個展以来独自の世界を確立。
    以来、数多くの個展、グループ展で作品を発表し続けている。
    2000年のシドニー・オリンピックでは、開会式、閉会式のプログラムのデザインを手がけるなど、活躍した。
    また、オーストラリアのユニセフ親善大使として、世界の子どもたちのために多くの仕事をしている。
