    同じ主題、構図のパレット画はHeinrich Sperling (1844-1924）の作品で見られます。私見ですが、彼の作品の下絵として書かれた可能性もあると思います。（または後世代の同じ主題の無名画家による可能性も考えられますが。）19世紀後半、ドイツの作品と考えられます。

    燃える家屋の情景があり、そこの窓からネコが外に飛び出している一風変わった風景です。ザックリした描写でパグと思われる犬や、躍動感あふれるネコのジャンプなどが描かれています。

    大きさは約32×21センチ程。

    若干絵の具の剥がれ等がありますが、時代相応と言えますし、普段楽しむ上では全く問題にならない範囲と言えるでしょう。
