    ◆作品解説　
    作者が京都在住期に描いた、夏の近江南部(滋賀県近江八幡市、安土町)の水郷の風景です。
    琵琶湖一帯は昔から広大な田野が広がります。その合間を水路が網の目のように通されており、時折、水路を遊覧船が通ります。
    夏に取材で訪れ、見渡すばかり水田や川・湖の、とある小さな橋のたもとに大きな木を見つけました。たまに水郷めぐりの遊覧船が水路を通り、天気も快晴で入道雲が少しだけ浮かび、偶然にも「絵になる風景」と出会えたのでした。

    画材は、絵具はミノー、ルフラン、クサカベギルドなど、高品質なブランドを使用。油や樹脂も加工油やマスチック樹脂(乳香)、ベネチアテレピンなど古典の時代から用いられてきた画材を使用。下地は、カンバスよりも堅牢な板に描いております。ヨーロッパの古典絵画技法を研究し、それを活かした技法で制作。これにより、色彩の深みや透明度、絵全体の堅牢さが高められています。
    時々、光の当たる場所での鑑賞をお勧めします。

    ◆画像は、極力実際の色調を再現し、出来るだけ反射やハレーションが写らないように努めています。しかし、時々、実際の見え方とは少し違う場合があります。絵の色相の幅が大きかったり、絵具の密度の差など、写真ではいまひとつ再現されないようです(実物は写真より良かった…と、伝えられる事が多いです)。御了承ください。
