    木村圭吾 (きむらけいご)
    1944年～
    日本画家。
    山口華楊、山村眞備に師事。

    日本各地の風景を描き、日本画が持つ柔らかさや安心感を表現。
    技術を研鑽し、対象物を画面上に落とし込む力量が作品のクオリティに
    反映されて日本画壇でも高く評価される。
    日本の伝統的な桜や富士などのモチーフと＜龍＞や＜獅子＞などの
    空想上の生物と合わせて描いた作品も迫力があります。

    略歴
    1944年 京都府深草生まれ。
    1993年「両洋の眼展」に出品(以降毎年）
    1994年 光が丘美術館にて「開館一周年記念木村圭吾展」。
    1996年 富士美術館にて個展。
    倉吉博物館菅楯彦大賞展市民賞受賞。
    1997年「鐘韻燦花物語－遥かなる旅路－木村圭吾日本画集」(毎日新聞社）出版
    1999年 増上寺天井絵奉納。
    NHK大河ドラマ「元禄繚乱」装画担当。
    2001年 平安時代創建の大阪の名刹・法楽寺の障壁画完成。
    「森羅万象－ほとばしる生命 木村圭吾 日本画の世界」(淡交社）出版
    2002年 薬師寺に散華奉納。
    2003年「木村圭吾さくら美術館」(静岡県長泉町)開館。
    2008年に閉館するまで、全国の多くのファンに愛される。
    2006年 カンヌ市・静岡市姉妹都市15周年記念特別展「天と地
    日本画家木村圭吾の世界展千年桜と聖龍」(仏・カンヌ市）。
    「天と地 悠久の花舞台」(船橋市／読売新聞東京本社主催／船橋市教育委員会後援）
    2007年 シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユ「ドラリオン」スペシャルサポーター参加
    2009年 木村圭吾アートホール完成。
    2016年 画業50周年記念展（名古屋・京都）。
    2018年 平野美術館（浜松）創立30周年記念展「美の宇宙 木村圭吾・
    拡張する日本画 －生の躍動・美の飛翔－」
