    かなり昔の竿ばかりです。

    ◎かなり昔の竿秤です。
    ◎皿、棒、皿吊り下げ鎖、錘、吊り下げ用革紐の全てに問題はありません。
    ◎最大で5瓩(kg)まで計れます。
    ◎錘には「定おもり」「秤量五瓩」の刻印があります。
    ◎風体で確認しましたが、ちゃんと釣り合いました。最初の画像をご覧ください。
    ◎サイズはだいたいですが、皿の直径24cm、竿の長さ52cmです。
    ◎重さはだいたいですが700gです。
    ◎使用感、経年感はありますが、しっかりした品物です。

    昭和の時代は、初期から中期までは棹ばかりが結構使われているのです。
    何十キロもある重いものから、金銀などの少量を正確に秤量するものまで、原理は皆同じですが大きさが違います。
    弥次郎兵衛やモビールの様に、重さが違った物同士でも支点からの距離を変えれば両側で釣り合う事を利用しているわけなのです。昔の人は何も材料がなくても、良く考えて色々な物を作ってしまうのです。
    鉄屑を売りに行くと、「あいよっ、はい、こんだけだから30円ね」てな感じで棹ばかりで、ちょっと誤魔化しながら買ってくれるのです。磁石で砂鉄を集めれば、それも買ってくれるのです。昭和の子供の良い小遣い稼ぎなのです。
    八百屋に、つくしを持っていけば、「あいよっ、はい、こんだけだから20円ね」と、やっぱり棹ばかりで量って買ってくれるのです。但し、つくしは袴をきれいに取り除いておかないと買ってくれないのです。なので、袴取りで指が真っ黒になるのです。でも20円も稼げるのですから、手が真っ黒になろうがいっこうに構わないのです。

    今回の品物は、そんな棹ばかりです。ちゃんと釣り合うので使用は可能です。単位が匁と瓩(kg)の目盛りになっています。目盛りは書かれたものではなくて、絶対に消えないように金属の細い軸を埋め込む事で表現しています。かなり凝った作りです。この機会にコレクションに加えては如何でしょうか。大きすぎす小さすぎず、丁度よい大きさの品物です。
