    日本国有鉄道 金沢鉄道管理局 敦賀第二機関区『EF70形 交流電気機関車概説』全２２３頁

    昭和37年に北陸本線・敦賀〜今庄間に『北陸トンネル』が開通・敦賀〜福井駅間が交流電化開業するのにあわせて製造されました。
    ED70形電気機関車と共に活躍しましたが、EF81形電気機関車の登場でJRに継承されずに廃車となりました。

    この本は『EF70形電気機関車』が新製配置されるに当たり、金沢鉄道管理局・敦賀第二機関区の職員に配布された物と思います。
